The posts are heavy duty galvanized steel and are all one piece. This is superior to competitor's two piece system that is very thin walled and painted - not galvanized.
The direct mount system connects the basketball goal directly through the backboard to the pole - eliminating the stress that breaks backboards. Our basketball equipment mounts directly inground for safety and increased stability.

4-1/2" Gooseneck Style: Includes 4-1/2" OD Gooseneck pole with 4' overhang, a fan-shaped aluminum backboard which is white in color with shooter's square, heavy duty double loop stationary rim, diagonal braces and hardware. Backboard and rim feature a limited lifetime warranty. This is the standard in commercial grade basketball equipment.

3-1/2" Gooseneck with 36" overhang: This is a residential version of the 4-1/2" Gooseneck. Post is constructed of 3-1/2" OD galvanized steel pipe. Gooseneck design provides strong mounting.
